How do you say platypus in the plural form? Just curious. I've been stuck on them lately, and I grow to love them more every day. They have fur, sport webbed feet, lay eggs, are poisonous, and are nocturnal. My brother told me recently that the platypus is a monotreme. Here is a baby one.
My daughter has been fascinated with the platypus, too. Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb is one of her favorite characters.

I used to love platypus. I found out they are poisonous and they became less cute to me at that time. I did a report on them in middle school sometime and my fascination lasted for awhile. They are cute animals.

I can remember writing a report on platypuses when I was in elementary school. I had a fascination with them too. Must be the duck bill.
I dont think I have seen one in real life before.. My daughter seems to be on a hedgehog kick. Maybe I need to show her your post. =)
